Be the mystery at the crossroads of your senses

About Me

A woman with blonde curly hair, wearing a floral dress, sitting outdoors in a field of tall, golden grass during sunset, looking at the camera with a gentle smile.

I love learning and I love the mystery of life.

My path began with my own healing journey in young adulthood. It was a time of descent, I had experienced a traumatic event and I needed help. When I found powerful, loving guidance through a Jungian analyst, a flame was born in me. That little flame has since been cultivated into the fire of my life-long passion. Much can be said about the gifts of facing our wounds.

I am deeply passionate about understanding the human experience - our ancient and modern ways, the ways we suffer, the ways we heal, and the extraordinary potential within each of us to allow who we truly are to emerge in a world that needs our presence and care.

I am a soul guide — a deep-feeling, heart-rooted psychotherapist, grief tender and ritual walker.

My Mentors

Many threshold moments, wise mentors and practices have continued to influence who I am and what I now offer to you. Here are a few!

One of the greatest influences on my life and work has been the guidance I’ve received from my beloved mentor Francis Weller. Since we began our work together in 2017, I’ve assisted his work while he has mentored my own. He has and continues to impart to me the gift of receptivity, trust in and respect for the soul, as well as the ancient healing practice of ritual. Precious medicine for our times.

My years in the School for Servants and Heroes reshaped my orientation to life and what I now offer. In this life-changing atmosphere my eyes were opened to the power of team-work in international service projects, the outrageous beauty of this world, the numinous in ordinariness, tools to access the present moment, and the awareness of the obstacles that get in the way of our natural states.

Ruth Denison, a wise, powerful and creative Vispassana mentor and teacher, introduced me to meditation and Buddhist studies. She brought an experimental approach to accessing presence through the senses. At her Joshua Tree Vispassana retreats in the 90’s, it was the first time I experienced the truth of the body as a conduit to presence.

Other major influences that continue to reverberate through all of my work and life: Carl Jung, Marion Woodman, Clarissa Pinkola Estes, the poetry of Bob Dylan.

A deep bow of gratitude to all my mentors and influences who have blessed me with their wisdom!
